Hampshire was founded in 2010, when the group discovered that there was a specific need developing in the industry to provide great advisors a home that is unencumbered and uncensored.
Established in KZN and since expanded across South Africa, featuring branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pietermaritzburg, George etc.

Rowan Matthews
B SOC SCI. HONNS IND PSY. MBA.
25 years experience in the industry in both agency and independent advice. Qualifying at RAU, Rowan went on to join Liberty Life in 1996.
After resigning as a manager, Rowan started his own Liberty franchise eventually merging this business into one of the largest independently owned distribution companies.
Rowan founded Hampshire which is now a national concern with offices in most of the major centers.
Sean Farrell
CA(SA)
After qualifying as a chartered accountant at Deloitte Sean went on to work in the corporate finance team at Automakers for 3 years whereafter he joined RMB Private Bank and was their CFO for 7 years and CEO for 4 years.
After many years in the corporate world Sean took a short sabbatical. Sean now serves as non-executive director of Hampshire Independent Advisors and is responsible for Seed Investments as CEO.
